Starting from the era of” kabootar ja ja ja” to gradually being replaced by “dakiya daak laya “ & then finally entering the era of Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail and much more, our lives are constantly evolving.
Now in this generation of instant noodles, Emails are just like a gadget of Doraemon which helps us connect with anyone, anywhere and anytime we want with the extra spice of emojis and also by exchanging the precious moments of our life in the form of attachments. Also, it is the best anywhere door for our professional work too.
But giving a thought on the other side, don’t you think that every time we open our PC or sit with our phone, our hand automatically moves towards the mailbox? We are spending most of our time on emails, checking our inbox, sending and receiving mails, and much more that takes up most of our time.
Here are some tips and tricks on how we can save our time without completely saying goodbye to mails.
- Scheduling time with inbox: Making different time slots for using mail, like two times a day can be one of the best solutions to manage your work.
- Emergencies first: Managing all the emails can give a good start for your daily work. The most important mails should be marked and should be replied to first so that our time would not get wasted on the spam mails. In this manner, we can give a quick response to important emails.
- Filtering the not answered emails: For saving time from the spam mails we should use the filters so that our important mails are shown first and we can answer them firstly and no important mail is left out.
- Grouping them: We can use the Nesting Function in the mail which allows us to see all the replies and forwards for a particular message in one place.
We know email is an important part of our life but it cannot be our complete life. We cannot sideline all our important work and just sit in front of mails, right! And while we are all at home, it is the right time to improve our habits and give it a new start.
