While the world around them thinks their lives are free goodies, browsing social media and working whenever they want to, it’s only the fellow creator who truly understands that it’s actually not. If you can relate to these influencer memes, trust me you have been in the game long enough.
If you’re not an influencer and are shrugging your shoulders, wondering how clicking pictures and eating delicious food, travelling to exotic locations, or wearing cool new outfits could be called work, you are more than mistaken.
There is a lot more to it than meets the eye, like heckling with PRs, eating cold food because you spent a considerable amount of time trying to get the right picture, battling the addiction of constantly checking the metrics to the most infuriating, ‘free collaborations and favour requests’ that get thrown at you!
Exposure doesn’t pay bills
When someone sends you an e-mail asking about a possible collaboration and ends the e-mail with 'If you charge – please ignore this message'… ARE YOU KIDDING ME #bloggerproblems #bloggerlife #lifeofablogger pic.twitter.com/SzoGAydwic
